Akua Akuffo is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner who received her Doctor in Nursing Practice from Rush University. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a staff nurse in areas such as gastroenterology and on a medical-surgical unit for almost 10 years at Rush University Medical Center. 

Currently, she has a dual role with Uropartners where in collaboration with physicians, she provides care to inpatients with urologic conditions who are admitted to the hospitals as well as see patients in the outpatient setting. 

Akua strives to provide timely and high-quality personalized care for all her patients. She currently resides in the northern suburbs with her husband and two children.
